What is Worlds Collide?:
"Worlds Collide" is a work of fan fiction currently in progress. I have a plot outline for this but can't even begin to tell you how long it will be. I suspect novel length.

It is an attempt to meld the characters of CLAMP and SquareSoft together. FFX meets X. We get wings, sakura petals, angst, blood, gore, death, apocalypse, and just about every other thing you can think of. Of course, I have to do some setup first.

Also, if you've read X you’ll get a lot more of the symbolism and parallel than if you haven't but it won't make that much of a difference. I'm going to do my best to make this easily followed for plot by both fandoms.

Story Summary:
After a trip to Japan for a funeral, Sakurazuka Auron begins to behave oddly and have strange dreams. When life events cause he and his sister to move to Tokyo things will never be the same for anyone.

Rating Information:
This thing is clearly R rated material for most chapters due to violence, magic, blood, and gore. It also has homosexual themes (you can't do anything X and not have them folks!). At this point I don't belive there will be anything higher rated, but if things get squicky I'll have "**" next to the chapter. If you are not of legal age to read such things, or have problems with the content, then don't click. I'm not going to be held responsable for what you read.

Warnings:
If you are uncomfortable with assinations, blood sacrifice, ritual killing, magic use, and the epic struggle of good vs. evil, cross dressing, and homosexuality then this is NOT the fic for you!

Conventions:
Due to the nature of the fandoms, some Japanese language will be sprinkled through this fic. I will do my best to have translations hotlinked if it's something more important than, "hello."

I have used the standard convention of words in italic being internal thoughts of the characters.

Disclaimer Junk:
Auron, Braska, Jecht, Yuna, Tidus, Lulu, Wakka, Kimahri, Cid, Rikku, Seymour, Yunalesca, Mika, Kelk, and Kinoc are all characters created by SquareEinx (formerly known as SquareSoft) for the game FFX. Subaru, Fuuma, Kamui, Seishirou, Karen, Yuuto, Nataku, Yatouji, Kusanagi, Kakyou, Arashi, Sorata, Seiichirou, Yuzuriha, Hinoto, Kanoe, Kotori, Hokuto and others are all part of the X universe and were created by CLAMP for the manga of the same name. I'm twisting them up, mashing them together, and screwing with them all. This is an "Alternate Reality" for the FFX characters used and an "Alternate Universe" for the X folks. Who knows where it will end up. I'm no making money on this story and I don't plan to so I hope that the aforementioned folks all deem this to be fair use.

Author's Notes:
My normal beta reader, Skuld, had been on me for months to get a CLAMP muse. I came up with this idea and she just about went nuts. I actually started writing the chapters almost a year ago and I'm not sure if I'm going to get back to this one full time any time soon. Expect really sporadic updating on this one until further notice.

Backgrounds are created from my own photography, screen shots from the X movie and TV series, and collected images of locations that relate to the tale. All of them were mashed up in Photoshop by yours truely.
