Emerline is an original character created for Legendary Guardian and has no basis in cannon from Square Soft in Final Fantasy X. She appears in several chapters of LG, Braska's Journey, and is spoken about in Bonds of Love.

Emerline is daughter to the priest Inek, and sister to Wen Kinoc. Auron, being best friends with Kinoc, spends quite a bit of time in the family home and holds a special place in his heart for Emerline. Having lost is mother and sister to childbirth, Auron thinks of Em as the sister he would have had.

Over the course of their lives, Auron and Emerline’s relationship undergoes a transformation. Em, smitten with Auron from a young age, pursues him as a potential husband on his return to Bevelle. Oblivious to the true meaning of the attentions, naive Auron unwittingly encourages the idea of a match and it leads to no end of trouble.

Emerline has sandy blond hair, green eyes, and a slight frame. Five years Auron’s junior, she stands just five feet tall and has a quiet gentle nature. Like her brother, she has a natural tendency toward mediation, but not an inclination toward religious vocation or politics. She has no magical skills and has never been trained in fighting arts, but is a great cook and excellent seamstress.
