Haywind is an original character created for Legendary Guardian and has no basis in cannon from Square Soft in Final Fantasy X. He is only mentioned a few times in LG.

One of Sam's blitz playing brothers, Haywind is twenty-five when Auron first meets him in Luca. Having been a "star" with the Luca Goers, he and his twin Thomas, are shopping themselves as "free agents" during their last competitive years before "retiring" to coaching like their father and oldest brother Bix.

Haywind is a six foot tall brunette with blue eyes. Only personality and a few tattoos allow him to be distinguished by non-family members from his brother Thomas. Sam comments to Auron during a game that Haywind is particularly good as a "guard" because of his strength and ability to strip the blitzball. He's a pure jock and loves his sport.
