Longin is an original character created for Legendary Guardian and has no basis in cannon from Square Soft in Final Fantasy X.

What does one say about Longin? The kinds of words used to describe this man pretty much say it all - an oily, sneaky, spying scribe. Longin is assistant to the Maester Umaro and is one of the principal reasons that Auron's uncle, Youke, was demoted. He's a jerk of the first order and a 'plant' in Umaro's office. Even his own Maester doesn't trust him.

Who does the little wretch really work for and what is his agenda - we may never know. However, I can tell you the following information about this rat of a character. Longin is a slight man of about five foot four. He slouches a bit, making him seem even shorter. As a political animal and an informer, Longin does his best to ingratiate himself to as many people as he can without crossing anyone. Starting rumour and a slave to gossip, he also tries hard to say unnoticed in large gatherings - all the better to glean information he might one day use against someone. He's a rat. A nasty little blue eyed rat.

I had in mind the actor Brad Dourif when writing Longin. While Brad has a pretty versatile face, I think these pics best show him as my little "sneak of a scribe."
