Youri is an original character created for Legendary Guardian. She has no basis in cannon and is mentioned in Bonds of Love and Braska's Journey.

Youri is Auron's mother. She married a rogue thief, Aurik, that her brother Youke drug home and put on the straight and narrow. As one of twins, she shared a special bond with her brother and it shows in the quiet ways they communicate.

When Youri marries Aurik, they move to Killika where Aurik becomes a fisherman and settles down to a quiet life. They are happy there until Aurik and his shipmates are killed at sea by Sin. After Aurik's death, Youri and Auron return to Bevelle to live in the family home but her time there is short. She, and Auron's unnamed sister, die due to childbirth complications.
