Still not recovered and sleep is still random. I did, however, make it to Target early in the day and picked up new decorations for my tree. Last year I got an 8 ft prelit tree at Target after the holiday was over. It was a 300.00 tree and I got it for under 100. My decorations have been packed away for about eight years now—moving and other things have made doing anything but baking and shipping out said baked items at holiday time pretty much a no-go. Also, my husband isn’t much into decorating. Personally, I don’t mind that. I think stringing up a bunch of lights on the outside of your house and turning them on every night for a month is nothing more than a good way to run up your electric bill. Still, I do enjoy a pretty tree in the house now and again. So, since I have no idea what is left of my decorations and at least half of them were antique glass (which is not too cool when you have a cat) I went out for all new stuff. From garland and shatterproof orniments ones made of foam, wood, or metal to a star for the top of the tree I’m all ready to rock and roll for a holiday party next year.
Personal items also accomplished yesterday include all bags unpacked and only two loads of laundry left to wash. Today, at some point, I do the banking, hit the gym for a water session, and see my ortho about my back. Thursday it’s back to the real world of books for the business, filing, and payroll.
Oh well, all things end.
Now I’m off to try and get another few hours of sleep. I get lucky and when I get up next time I’ll be able to stay up for at least 14 hours and get back on a normal pattern.

Well, that was certainly interesting Swift is dead, long live Swift!
